Do you have a puzzling question about fulfilment that needs an informed answer? In that case you might be intrigued by a new service launched by fulfilment house The Fulfilment Store. It's called 'Ask Jeff', and you literally ask Jeff the answer to your question – either by email or through on online submission form.

The Jeff in question is Jeff Larcombe, who has worked in fulfilment for over twenty years, and is now managing director of TFS. He says he's happy to discuss anything from call handling to picking and packing, literature fulfilment and product shipping. There's a whole micro-web site dealing with the service, linked to the company's main site.

As Larcombe puts it: 'Over the years we've handled many calls from firms that are at their wits' end on distribution. We wanted to provide an online and easily accessible resource for any business.'

Even if it's really a gimmick to prompt you into making contact, we think it's been executed rather well. You don't have to be a client to use the service, by the way, though no doubt TFS would like to think you might become one.
