TGW Twister for versatile carton and tote handling
 The latest TGW Twister load handling system from TGW is said to offer a range of benefits to users, including reduced handling time and maximised footprint. In other words, you can store more product in less space faster. Twister is a form of automated carton or tote handling system using shelving racks. It's capable of storing cartons in up to quadruple-deep shelving racks, whilst providing access to each individual carton and ensuring stock integrity. The company says a vast range of carton dimensions can be handled carefully, with a dimension range of between 200 and 800 mm in length and 150 to 650 mm in width. This would seem to make it ideal for large-scale mixed product storage and handling. TGW says this form of load handling technology is particularly reliable because of the form-locked handling of cartons or totes by means of in-built movable flaps. Even under difficult operating conditions, such as uneven loading, irregular carton quality or low working temperatures, it claims this equipment performs consistently and reliably.
