Consistent customs compliance from Kewill

Businesses needing to process customs declarations in multiple countries may find relief from the administrative burden with CustomsXchange, a new product from Kewill. The company claims it is currently the only solution that operates consistently in multiple countries.

Kewill says it bring simplicity, local expertise and transparency to customs compliance, and helps businesses trade across borders with each other more simply and cost-effectively.

The system acts as a messaging hub, where customs information can be entered in the same format and through the same interface regardless of its final destination.

It handles the onward connections to customs or legislative authorities, using local customs applications, designed and developed in each country by local experts. Kewill says this means that all applications are proven, certified and available in the local language.

It is seen as particularly attractive now that businesses are having to contend with new regulations such as Export Control System (ECS), the Import Control System (ICS) in Europe and the ISF 10+2 legislation in the US.
