A new version of the long-established Infor SCM Transportation Management solution, version 9.0, is said to offer significant advances over previous versions, including increased visibility and control of inventory, costs, transport planning and execution and international trade compliance processes. It works across multiple transport modes, including truck, ocean, rail, air and intermodal.

The latest version features embedded optimisation, routing compliance, additional freight payment support and enhanced freight rate maintenance tools. Country coverage for trade compliance has also been increased from 50 to 120 countries - a change achieved through a new trade data partnership with Management Dynamics, a specialist in global trade management solutions.
