Consumers who buy a Hippo Box unattended delivery system from Giraffe Marketing now qualify for a £20 discount on their first case of wine from Virgin Wines (providing they spend over £50). Effectively, this means get the Hippo Box for just £119 (£20 less than the list price).

The deal is the result of one of a range of "affiliate links" being developed by Giraffe to extend sales and awareness of the system. Intriguingly, the offer applies to existing as well as new purchases of Hippo Boxes, and Giraffe managing director Charles Gallichan tells us that customers who bought boxes up to two years ago are getting an unexpected windfall in the form of a £20 discount voucher from Virgin dropping through their letterboxes (or into their Hippo Boxes).

Giraffe is now offering evening deliveries of the boxes themselves within the M25 area at no extra cost - taking a leaf out of its own book by trying to avoid unattended delivery problems with its unattended delivery system.
