Jamie Oliver launches online sales with backup from Prism

Jme Group, a new trading arm of the UK celebrity chef Jamie Oliver, has added a transactional extension to the existing Jamie Oliver web site (www.jamieoliver.com), and is currently selling a modest selection of food, kitchen, dining and lifestyle products online.

The group appointed Prism DM to engineer and build the transactional site extension, and has also chosen Prism to handle fulfilment for the site. Prism is providing integrated customer service, warehousing and order fulfilment from its premises in Farnborough. Standard delivery time is three days.

The transactional site was designed by London web agencies Flow and Splendid, who provided Prism DM with the templates and design assets needed to build the site using Prism DM components.

Jme head of e-Commerce Monisha Saldanha says the choice of Prism was influenced by its ability to combine site functionality and powerful content management, integrated with fulfilment.
