A new rapid-deployment mobile application development product called Workflow DynMX has been launched by Aeromark, a company which (unusually) specialises in both vehicle tracking and mobile job management. The company says it can produce applications that are “absolutely like bespoke software”, but in half the project time taken by traditional methods.

The development environment is hosted externally, yet uses interactive drag-and-drop techniques to enable users to build PDA-based screens whilst working on a PC display. Aeromark says it has created a new binary protocol to speed data transfer. Store-and-forward, always-on and push data communications are all supported.
