Autumn 2008
Netpack joins larger group
Netpack, the fulfilment company based in Cornwall, has been acquired by Otter House Group, a long-standing trading partner, and has gained a slightly new name – Netpack Fulfilment. Otter House publishes and distributes cards, gifts and calendars, and also provides design and catalogue management services to the charity sector. Charity customers make up a large proportion of Netpack's business. Its 20 clients in this sector include RSPCA, Blue Cross, Samaritans, Epilepsy Action, Prostate Cancer, Suzy Lamplugh Trust and Alzheimer's Society. The group says it will now be able to offer a wide and integrated range of design, production, stock control, fulfilment, mailing and other services. An investment program to enhance and improve customer service is said to be under way. Netpack managing director Tim Brawn is to stay on, along with the rest of the management team. * Netpack describes itself as the preferred fulfilment company for Dragons Den's Deborah Meaden and her YouDooDoll investment.
