The latest version of Manhattan Supply Chain Intelligence, Manhattan Associates' business intelligence tool, has gained improvements in usability, interactivity and functionality, the company says.

Supply Chain Intelligence is the system that extracts and presents business information from other supply-chain modules in Manhattan's portfolio – notably its Distribution Management and Transportation Lifecycle Management suites.

The new version has been given a single, consistent use user interface, and uses the same technology and data architecture for analysis, reporting and alerting.

'Self-service' ad hoc querying has been introduce to allow for users to find answers to questions not addressed by pre-set analyses and reports; and users can access analytics and reports directly via Microsoft Office applications and supported mobile devices such as BlackBerrys and other handheld devices.
