Fashion logistics provider Belspeed has implemented RedPrairie's Warehouse Management system to increase the productivity of its warehouses. The company says the system will enable it to meet a booming demand for its services more efficiently, as well as reducing paperwork.

The system handles all inbound stocks, warehouse management and picking order processes. Incoming goods are allocated automatically to an optimal site within the warehouse, and orders for multiple customers can be handled simultaneously. Additionally, inventories can be tracked and controlled online. The system features its own billing module, enabling Belspeed to automate the invoicing of its services to customers. Also included is an integrated module for customs handling, which simplifies administration.

Belsped, which is based in Belgium, handles logistics for over 125 fashion brands.
