Multi-channel retail pioneer dabs.com, nowadays a BT subsidiary, has chosen a business management suite from Junction Solutions and Microsoft Dynamics to support planned growth, improve efficiency and deliver better customer service.

The suite was chosen after competitive review, and replaces a range of in-house systems. It will handle planning, purchasing, warehouse, order processing, customer services, returns and marketing.

Dabs holds only around three to four weeks' stock at any time, and financial director Neil Catto says prices can change daily. 'Efficient and flexible technology is absolutely fundamental to our success. Having looked at the marketplace, we felt that Microsoft Dynamics AX stood out as the most flexible, intuitive and powerful ERP platform around.'
