Visibility a key in new WMS module
Users of a new web-based warehouse management software module are given 'new levels of anywhere, anytime, web browser-only access to their own-goods information in a third-party logistics warehousing environment'. So says DeltaWMS, which claims to be the UK's fastest growing supplier of interactive warehouse management systems. Custom-branded web portal entry gives the 3PL user quick, remote access to their stockholding, chosen reports and details of their products. Delta says clients can quickly and easily create, view and amend their pre-receipts and orders, which then appear in the warehouse pool. There is no need to re-key data. Reporting is said to be flexible, and includes the facility to add new reports via the web module. Reports can be exported in various formats including Microsoft Excel. Delta products integrate with other core supply chain applications from suppliers such as Sage, SAP and others using Microsoft industry-standard DTS technology. Customers include Condor Ferries, English Welsh & Scottish Railway, Haven, Palletways, Pindar, Sun Valley, Toyota Tsusho, TDG and The Royal British Legion.
