How well is your warehouse performing?
If you're looking for a way to measure your warehouse performance and make informed decisions on the basis of it, you might be interested in a new packaged software product from Swedish-based developer CDC Software. It's a business intelligence solution called EPM Warehouse, and is said to enable customers using supply-chain management software to make faster and more informed decisions by analysing logistics transactional data. CDC says it integrates with many supply chain management systems to provide companies with extended warehouse management capabilities. Data is delivered through intuitive visual 'dashboards' and reports, which can be customised to suit the individual needs of companies. 
For instance, EPM Warehouse enables companies to identify which of their suppliers are not performing in terms of correct delivery times or quantities; monitor and identify which warehouse-floor pickers are under-performing or those that are outperforming and should be rewarded; and compare the performance metrics of individual warehouses.
