Prolog expands in Nottinghamshire
Fulfilment specialist Prolog Logistics has opened yet another high-capacity warehouse at the showcase Sherwood Park business park, Annesley near Mansfield in Nottinghamshire. It will need up to 60 staff when fully occupied, the company says. The new facility is Prolog's eighth at the former Kodak site, where it is the dominant occupant, and this addition of 115,000 sq ft brings the company's total space there to nearly 900,000 sq ft. Like several of its other units, the new one is a combined warehouse and administrative facility; the administrative areas are mostly contained on two 2,500 sq ft mezzanine floors. The company says the internal storage and production configuration can vary according to client requirements. Two of Prolog's other units at Annesley incorporate their own multi-channel contact centres. The developer was Highbridge Properties and the managing agent was sbh.uk, and the project was completed a month ahead of schedule.
