From media to mailing - a new force in fulfilment

A new force in mailing and marketing support fulfilment has burst on the UK scene in the form of Brandedmailing. It is an offshoot of Brandedmedia, a CD and DVD replication business that has gradually expanded into related storage and distribution activities.

The new company draws strength from research among existing group clients. It says 68 per cent have been frustrated by their current supplier's poor attention to detail in creating finished product for mail campaigns, and 76 per cent complain about poor customer service.

Whilst starting in the familiar field of postal fulfilment, the company says it is setting up stockholding and despatch facilities in order to expand into full mail-order fulfilment. It also has longer-term plans to create a contact centre capability in support of this.

Brandedmedia itself was created four years ago, and has built turnover up to £4.5 million. It has a base in the UK and an office at Limhamn in southern Sweden, and is offering its fulfilment resources in both countries. Its UK base is at Basingstoke in Hampshire, where it has storage, picking, collation, packing and despatch facilities, and say it has the ability to despatch up to 250 pallets a day.
