Cyrane gains search engine
Cyrane, the sales order processing software supplier, has enhanced its multi-channel credentials by acquiring Netcallidus, a search engine optimisation company. It claims this makes it the only supplier of its kind in the direct sales and multi-channel market to have a dedicated, specialist SEO resource. Netcallidus has developed its own proprietary techniques and client strategies, and is said to be an acknowledged authority on the search engine market. Cyrane offers a multi-functional system for order processing, fulfilment and transaction processing. It can handle orders by phone, mail, shop and trade counters, and is said to support advances web strategies. Features include secure credit card processing; warehouse, despatch, stock and purchase management; marketing reports and analysis tools; CRM tools; management reporting; and support for Sage and Access accounting integration. The company is a subsidiary of something4, a diverse new-technology group.
