McIntyre & King taken over
Liverpool-based fulfilment house McIntyre & King is said to be thriving under new ownership, having been acquired out of administration by a company called Anipoint. e.logistics Magazine was told that staff and premises are still in place, and the company is trading as normal. Former director Stuart Clarkson is understood to remain involved, and we are told the revived company has a proactive range of new services in the pipeline, backed by Bank of Scotland funding. The company was previously acquired in the mid-1990s by a team led by Bob Bischof, German-born entrepreneur who was well-known from his years in the fork-lift truck industry. It offers a comprehensive range of call centre, database and fulfilment services, many of which are housed under one roof in Liverpool.
