Autoflow is now Amethyst

Amethyst Group, the e-commerce and general logistics company owned jointly by Itochu and Inchcape, is extending its branding to include the activities of sister-company Autoflow, which will in future to known as the Amethyst Group's logistics division.

Autoflow started life as a distribution centre for Mazda cars, and has since added warehousing, inventory and other value-added services to customers in sectors such as automotive, leisure, electronics and telecoms. Three years ago it took over the former Liptons Tea distribution centre in Leighton Buzzard. Customers now include TEN (jointly owned by Sony and AOL Time Warner) and EADs subsidiary Cogent Communications.
