Parcel2Go bags DeliveryNetworks

Deliverynetworks, the online express parcel despatch portal, has been acquired by Parcel2Go.com, a rival online shipping specialist.

Parcel2Go's business development manager, Richard Adams-Mercer, paid tribute to the high-profile affiliations and site links achieved by the DeliveryNetworks team, and told e.logistics Magazine its branding would be retained. In practice, he added, Parcel2Go.com had already been the sole supplier for all DeliveryNetworks traffic for some months prior to the acquisition in December.

Parcel2Go says it has long-term backing, and claims more robust supplier relationships than other online delivery services. Among selling points is a £24.99 rate for moving a 20kg consignment to the Continent. A US service is now planned.
