Parts online for Volvo trucks
Volvo parts and accessories will soon be available for purchase online. Customers will be able to select the items they want from an electronic catalogue, or else by the part number (assuming they know it). The order will be routed to a Volvo dealer, which will handle delivery. The facility is one of a range of online services being developed by Volvo Trucks. The company is also developing an online used truck sales service. Through this system, customers can access to information about available used trucks all over Europe, including photographs, detailed specifications and the names of the Volvo dealers selling the vehicles. There is also a facility called a "search agent", which can be used when no suitable vehicle is available. It will contact users by email when additional vehicles are registered with the service.
