Swiss forwarder joins Bolero
Swiss-based global freight forwarder Kuehne & Nagel has joined trade standards organisation Bolero.net. Initially, K&N will work with German-based Otto Versand (the world's largest mail-order group) and the German customs service on clothing shipments from Asia. Thomas Engel, chief information officer of Kuehne & Nagel International said: "We were looking for a better and more efficient way to fulfil our clients' business needs. Bolero.net allows us to integrate with Otto Versand's supply chain parties, speed the trading process and reduce errors - all of which should translate into better customer service and cost savings."
