Multiactive aims to entice "bricks" companies to "clicks"

Multiactive Software, a company that made its name with affordable software for developing commerce-enabled Web sites, has launched a new higher-end suite called Entice!, which is aimed at existing business wanting to migrate to a Web-based environment.

Entice! is designed to integrate with users" existing sales, marketing and customer service systems, while at the same time automating traditional business processes. At its heart is an electronic commerce module, but this is supported by a range of other resources.

Among these is a CRM module (customer relationship management), which includes Campaign Manager (for setting up and executing marketing projects) and Account Manager (sales and customer management, including prospect information, document management, team selling and remote data synchronisation).

Also included is an enhanced reporting and analysis module, with features such as sales analysis and Web navigation trend analysis; key indicator tracking; and customer profiling.

The electronic commerce module includes full capability to create and manage an online catalogue and store, along with a feature called E-business Advisor. This offers marketing advice, Web links and the ability for users to register their sites with Internet search engines.

Entice prices start at £16,000, which includes the server version and a site licence for 10 concurrent users. Additional licences cost £650 per user.
